Today in Athens and in Thessaloniki there were strikes of the public and private sector employees. 85% of the people working in the public sector took part in the 24 hours strike. They claim they will not retreat and they will go again on strike on February 24th

24 hours strike in the public sector

All flights to and from the Greek airports have been canceled. The governmental institutions, municipalities and local governments are closed. Public schools and universities will not have classes today.
