Two billion euro borrowed Greece in order to launch the National program for strategic development

This is the biggest credit which Greece has ever drawn from the European bank. The loan is for a period of 25 years with 7 years grace period. It covers 50% of the required four billion euros from the state to launch projects with funding from the national framework for strategic development.

A suspected in being a Russian spy escaped from the Cypriot police

A 54-years-old Greek-Canadian who was arrested in Cyprus following the order of Interpol as being the 11th man of a group, accused of espionage in the U.S.A., has disappeared without leaving any trace. It is believed that he was the treasurer of the group and is now reported missing.
