Athens gives priority to eco cars

In addition to the known rules, the Ministry of Environment has decided that it will allow cars and trucks up to 2.2 tonnes in the city centre without restrictions if their engines meet the Euro5 standard or higher and emit less than 140g/km carbon dioxide.

Spyros Louis Cup is displayed at the Acropolis Museum

Stavros Niarchos Foundation has bought the trophy of the first Olympic marathon race winner at an auction at Christie's. The Cup will be staying at the Acropolis Museum for one year and will then tour various Greek cities, until it takes its permanent place in the future cultural centre of the Foundation.
