Over the weekend, when the negotiations on suspending the strike of the university staff flared up, Theodossis Pelegrinis left for Paris to act before 50 spectators.

As shown by the results of a check carried out by the internal control service of the Ministry of Finance.

Meanwhile, the physicians from the national health system have decided to extend their strike until 13 December, stating that "the struggle will continue and will intensify until the final victory." They are protesting against the expected cuts.

Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis has ordered intensive checks of catering establishments and of enclosed public places as well as the imposition of fines and disciplinary penalties.
