Peach producers block motorways between Thessaloniki-Kozani

Peach producers from Pela and Imatia areas blocked northern Greece roads, specifically the highway from Thessaloniki to Veria and Kozani. The six barricades on Egnatia highway force the drivers take roundabout roads.


Greek students infected with swine flu in Britain

The children are on a summer school in an English university, where they got infected with the virus. Great Britain is expecting 65 000 people to lose their lives during the pandemic period.

Valuable collection of ancient glass vases will be displayed in the new Archeological Museum in Patra

The new Archeological Museum in Patra – “the jewel of the Achaean capital,” is opening its doors for visitors on July 24. It will display valuable collections of mosaics, ancient glass vases, and findings from graves from the prehistoric to the roman eras.
