Military personnel will retire after serving 35 years, this predicts a new law for the rank promotion in the Greek army, introduced by minister Vangelis Meimarakis.

Parents will be able to take their children out of religion classes with a declaration. The church protests, and the Ministry of Education says the changes in the law don't mean that classes are not mandatory.
