More and more complicated becomes the puzzle about the murder guarantor and executor of the murder of the Cyprus media magnate Andis Hadjikostis. The police arrested two more people who are considered to be the ones standing behind the organization of the assassination.

Initially were arrested three men – the executor of the murder, his companion, and the man who informed them about the time when Hadjikostis has headed for his home. Yesterday the police held two more people, who will be sent to the prosecutor. The news about the two new arrests was announced by the minister for trade, industry and tourism Antonis Paschalidis. He didn’t say the names of the men arrested. According to an unconfirmed information we are talking about a former TV host of the “Sigma” channel owned by Hadjikostis and her brother. It is expected that one more person will be arrested.

Before Elena Skordeli has worked in the “Simerini” newspaper owned by DIAS holding and then she was a host in the “Sigma” channel news. Some time ago Hadjikostis laid her off. Consequently she purchased a large number of shares of DIAS holding. Skordeli was question only a day after the murder of Hadjikostis, however police let her free at that time. 10 days later they arrested her. The rumors are saying that Skordeli probably wanted to buy more shares however she couldn’t do that. It is possible that besides the interests of Skordeli some other economic interests are also involved.

It is expected that one more suspect will be held by the police. It is a 29 years old man, Cypriot, currently living abroad.
