The game from the 19th round of A1 between the male volleyball teams of Olympiakos and AEK, played at the Rendi field ended with a final score of 3:0. The white and red team got what they wanted to get and won by three points, which put them one step higher in the rank list, while the team of AEK dropped to the tenth place. The hosts were the ones who showed a strong game and from the very beginning until the last moment of the game they were the masters of the field. With great enthusiasm and desire to win from the very fist set of the game they convinced the audience that the score this evening will be in favor of them. Something which didn’t cost them a lot of efforts as the team of AEK was definitely out of shape. At the Rendi field the yellow and black showed they have some problems with the defense and a weak offense. As opposed to the red and white team which could easily be proud of great blockings of the ball and great strong offense. The guests, playing without two of their key players –Daraidu and Belos did not manage to achieve great results and the attempts for attack were skillfully blocked by the hosts. An exception is the second set when AEK strengthened its offense and the hosts who were calmed down by the gained lead from the previous set were laid back and loosened up the defense. The loss of AEK in the game against Olympiakos is the third loss in a row of the team.

Here is the final scores of the sets: 25-18, 26-24, 25-16

Olympiakos (Kalmazidis): Kunnari, Tischer, Caldeira, Andreadis, Djiric, Miljkovic, Stefanou, Soultanopoulos, Angelopoulos, Kyriazis
