Today again continued the chaos in central Athens, and the fights were brought from the streets around Omonia Square in the neighborhood Exarchia which became known as a haunt of anarchists. Slender youth with black hoods on their heads set on fire using petrol bombs two police cars and several trash bins which were near the vegetables market. The flames covered the stand for flowers and the 55-year-old saleswoman tried to extinguish them. The woman has minor burns, but was placed in an intensive care unit of a nearby hospital. 47-year-old man tried to help her and he has more serious burns - 33 per cent. He was also taken to the intensive care unit of the hospital. There is a third citizen who also became victim of the fire.
Earlier in the morning other unknown persons attacked the police station in Exarchia and set fire to cars and motorcycles, throwing stones at the building.
Police began inspections in the area and detained 85 people.
