The game between Olympiakos and Levadiakos, which was played on Karaiskaki Stadium in Athens as part of the 21-round of the football Super League ended with 5:1. The result itself is proof that the red-whites have gained back their good form and the failures are already part of the team’s past... Although the game was played without an audiences and Nikopolidis, Dudu and Galletti were also not present due to punishment of the team because of hooliganism of its fans during the last meeting with PAE Kavala, Olympiakos showed that those who have believed that the team is losing its position are in error...

From the very beginning the white-reds showed a very motivating game. Levadiakos’ team also played offensive and pursued goal opportunities, but the purposefulness of the guests disappeared in the middle of the second half, when the hosts scored their fourth goal. It was the moment of psychological blockade, which led Levadiakos to suspend any moves for further defence... This fact did not go unnoticed by the white-reds and they scored a fifth goal ...

Olympiakos scored its first goal in the 19th minute by the striker Mellberg. Followed was a second goal by the hosts in the 36th minute by the Englishman Darbisair. During the 41st minute the Englishman made a new attempt for a goal, but this time it was unsuccessful. As an answer to the hosts’ attacks the guests answered with a counterattack scored in the 42nd minute by striker Taralidis, whose great goal was executed by a strong technical jester. Taralidis's goal symbolized the willingness of the guests to fight so they continued to defend their positions in the stadium. In 44th minute Levadiakos noted one more unsuccessful attempt for goal executed by Gonzalez.

At the beginning of the second half the third goal was scored by Darbisair (by the wonderful pass from Lua-Lua to Rosidi and Rosidi to Darbisair). The goal attempts of the hosts continued – in the 38th minute Raul Bravo tried to make a goal, but goalkeeper Vallejo saved the ball. Just a few minutes later Mitroglou scored the fourth goal for the evening, after which the guests seemed discouraged... Levadiakos’ attack attempts were no longer so confident, and the defence of the team loosened. Using this defence weakening the white-red team did not give up and scored the fifth goal – again Mitroglou in the 48th minute. None of Levadiakos’ defenders tried to save the ball. The guests had already given up...
