He meets his readers with details of the development of his state since his arrest six months ago and his stay in “Evangelismos” hospital until now. Ksiros talks in details about the attitude of the superintendents towards the sick prisoners. With specific examples and names he tells how doctors are prescribing wrong treatments for prisoners, who are stopped after a period and another treatment, wrong again is started with wrong for the conditions of the patient medications. Ksiros thinks that the most common diseases throughout prisoners are cause by their wrong “treatment” by specialists and officers in reformatories. In the appendix of the book, author presents the full texts of letters of complaints related to the problems, feedbacks of prosecutors and other experts.

Savas Ksiros was arrested by the police June 29th 2002, when a bomb exploded in his hands while he was trying to set it n Piraeus. In two months time the authorities identified the bomb as a deed of the terrorist group “November 17”, they questioned Ksiros and held most of the suspected members of the group. The arrest was announced to be the largest break in the fight against terrorism. Until then the authorities could not identify a single member of “November 17”. The name of the organization comes from the date November 17th, 1973, when the governing at the time military junta crushed with blood a students’ demonstration. The goal proclaimed by them was a fight against capitalism, when in 27 years 23 Greeks and foreigners were killed and 50 bombing assaults were made. The first victim in 1975 was the CIA president in Athens Richard Welch and the last victim was the British military attaché Steven Sunders.
