Two new faces have become part of the Greek cabinet after the morning meeting between Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos.

At 3:00 pm today, Theophilos Leontaridis and Nikolaos Tagaras will take an oath and assume office as new Deputy Ministers of Rural Development and Environment, Energy and Climate Change.

Theophilos Leontaridis will take the place of Maximos Harakopoulos, who has resigned in protest against the changes in the dairy industry. Nikolaos Tagaras will replace in the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change Stavros Kalafatis, who has left his post as Deputy Minister as he will run for the post of mayor of Thessaloniki.

Despite the rumours that the Minister of Finance is about to be changed, the reshuffle has not affected Yiannis Stournaras.
