Not dance steps, but rest and less movement will accompany the actor Kostas Sommer during the Easter holydays. At least these are the recommendations of the doctors concerned about the dancer who insist that the rest is inevitable for the young enchanter. Even if he doesn’t want it he will have to give up for a while his daily practices and his busy schedule. The bad luck of the energetic Sommer comes from the fact that during a practice with his partner Jeny Nikoletzou he stepped on the wrong side, fell and injured his knee exactly where he had two previous injuries…

The in injury of the actor is the second one in the show program. Before him during practice also fell Stamatis Gardelis. In the world of dance however such injuries are not uncommon. Especially when a person has next to him an energetic partner as is Jeny Nikoletzou. For those who have forgotten let us remind that Jeny is a champion of Greece in International Latin Raising Stars category for 2007 – 2008… No matter what let us wish a fast rehabilitation to Sommer. And if he will return in “Dancing with the Stars” we will have the opportunity to follow. One thing is sure – regardless of whether he is a dancer or an actor he will continue to charm his fans.

Kostas who is born in Germany and whose mother is German (he takes her family name) and father is Greek, is one of the talented and charming man in the Greek television. The female part of the audience is in love with him. This is no surprise – besides talent and great presents on the stage he also has a very good looking physical appearance. We can definitely say that he has found the key to success because besides the talent and the good looks the young actor is also very hard working… Not many people probably know that his career in the television he starts when he was only 12 years old when he takes part in few commercial videos. People are saying that in Ierapetra (where his father comes from) the local citizens are still proud of Sommer’s success in the television. In all his movies – starting with “Forbidden love” and ending with “Next to the sea” he is true to the performance and his presence before the camera. This is exactly what the television viewers and especially the women cannot miss.

It is interesting that in spite of his great success and brilliant study in America (there Sommer studies critics and art of production) among the artists he seems to be modest… And yet he is not so modest not to be interested in the dream of each actor – a part (or another part as it is in his case) in an American series. This dream exactly was the reason for his residence in Los Angelis one month ago. “I would even swim to Hollywood” – jokes Sommer…
