This morning the anti-terror services have found in a major action two secret hiding places in Athens and Volos. The massive action continues and the Directorate General of the Greek police is expected to make an official statement.  

Three AK-47 rifles, six pistols, one revolver, a large quantity of cartridges have been found so far. The ballistics report which will show whether the weapons are "clean" and in which actions they were used will be ready any moment. Wigs, police uniforms, an armoured vest, police accessories, computers have been found in the secret hiding places too. All findings have been taken to the laboratories of the Greek police for analysis.

According to the official police statement, six people were arrested on charges of involvement in the terrorist organization Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei - five men and one woman. Four of the men and the woman were arrested in the secret hiding place on 53 Elispondou Str. in the Volos neighbourhood Nea Ioannia early in the morning. A search order for terrorist activity has been issued against three of those arrested. These are the Greek citizens Georgios Nikolopoulos, 24 years old and Christos Tsakalos, 32 years old and the Albanian citizen Damiano Bollano, 23 years old. The three are charged with involvement in terrorist activities, involvement in bomb attacks and possession and distribution of explosives.

The sixth person was arrested during a police operation in an apartment on 21 Orfeos Str. in the Athens neighbourhood Holargos.
