Nine months after iPhones were launched on the Greek market, their owners will be able to send messages in their mother tongue. The third version of the operation system, which Apple’s phone uses will finally be available in Greek.

iPhone OS 3.0 supports more than 100 new characteristics. Some of them are the ability to send MMS and to copy and move text from one application to another. One of the new characteristics will make this phone loved by carrying parents and jealous husbands. The subscriber of the service MobileMe will be able to find out from any connected to the internet computer, where exactly the iPhone is and if the phone is stolen, then the owner will be able to tell the phone from distance to delete all personal data it has.

When it comes to the market of iPhone – for the last year, 40 million iPhones and iPod touch were sold. The applications, which they have, exceeded 50 000 and the number of downloaded applications exceeded one billion. Apple believe that 65% of their clients surf online from an iPhone.

Apple announced that they are launching a new product on the market – iPhone 3GS. “S” indicates “Speed” because the new phone, which on the outside looks exactly the same as the current iPhone, is faster. Except for the speed, it has a voice control and it has a better camera (3 megapixel with automatic focus), which can also record video. For the ones who get lost easy, there is a digital compass.

iPhone 3GS will be launched in the US and in Western Europe two days after the OS 3.0 is launched on June 19^th with memory of 16 and 32 gigabytes. The “classic” 8 gigabyte iPhone will be cheaper and it be launched on the US market for $99 with a contract. And finally, the new browser Safari 4 is available for all platforms – Mac and Windows.
