Information was circulated today that the coach of Anortozis Cyprus – the Georgian Temuri Ketsbaia will most likely take the place of Ernesto Valverde on the coach bench of Olympiakos next season. According to sources close to the red-whites management, in order to get out of the bad situation in the club, the former Anortozis coach is the perfect solution for the new season. He is very well aware of the Greek soccer reality and he will not need time to adjust. This is the belief of the Pierian club, which could be taken as an answer to the pressure by the current coach Ernesto Velverde.

The Georgian coach has a “Pro” license from the national sports academy in Sofia. Under his supervision, Anortozis made their first break-through in Europe by entering the Champions League that same season.
