During his visit to Bulgaria, Sakis Rouvas performed in Music Idol, sang “Ain’t no Sunshine” with Galia, and made the unplugged version of his song “This Is Our Night” for the secret MAD TV concert. During his last night, he was the guest in one of the most viewed shows on Bulgarian TV – “Azis show.”

The secret concert took place in the studio of Denis Rizov from the band Ahat – “Harbor Island Records,” in front of a chosen public of 350 people. Some other special guests were DesiSlava, Grafa, Santra & Christo, who also performed exclusive duets with Galia.

Galia shared that for the show she had prepared her favorite songs – “It’s Not Right But It’s OK,” by Whitney Huston, “All Around the World,” by Lisa Stansfield, “Hanky Panky,” by Madonna, “Bootylicious” by Destiny’s Child, “Rock With You,” by Michael Jackson “Butterflies,” by Alicia Keys, and “Overpowered,” by Roisine Murphy. The singer revealed that those are the songs, which made her start working with music.

The culmination of the night came towards the end of the concert with the appearance of Sakis Rouvas, who together with Galia drove the audience crazy with the performance of “Ain’t No Sunshine.” The link between the two singers was so incredible that the audience started whispering that Galia had found her duet partner.

Sakis does not define himself as a celebrity and denies that he has hysteric fans all around him. Let us remind you that the Greek start is married to the top-model Katya Zagouli, with whom he has a five year old daughter. The singer dedicated his hit song “Irthes” (You came) from his new album to her. “The interesting thing is that both parents have still not decided how to name their daughter, because they are waiting for her to suggest it by her character. The celebrity family lives in a beautiful house in Athens with a sea view,” shares the Bulgarian TV channel TV 2.

While in Bulgaria, Sakis admitted that during the last few years he has devoted himself to his new passion, the cinema. “I knew I would become an actor even before I got the offer to act in “Alter Ego”,” shares Sakis regarding his movie debut in the Modern Greek drama. After his participation in Eurovision 2004, the singer left for Los Angeles, where he studied acting.

The newest film, in which he takes part in called “Duress” and the premiere will be on May 28th. This is a psycho thriller with Martin Donovan under the direction of Jordan Barker. In the film, Sakis plays a serial killer. Regarding this he gave an interview for “Elefteros Tipos” newspaper and said that: “My role will surprise you, because it is the total opposite of character and image, which I have created until now.”

Regarding his image as an actor, Sakis thinks that, “age influences the choice of roles, which you can play,” but “if you want to remain on the big screen, this depends on how much you can develop as an actor and whether you dare to try new things. This is what I aim on doing.”

In Bulgaria, Sakis gave interviews for the magazines Hi Club, Blyasak, Max, Trud, OK!, Ellite, Badi zvezda, Vsichki pred ekrana and for BNT (Bulgarian National TV)!
