Criminality in Greece is increasing with great speed, when shootings and murders are not stopping even during the weekend. This time it was an old family feud, which has been going on for 10 years. One person lost his life and two other were seriously injured on Crete.

The Hania police are searching for the two brothers, who killed a 25-year-old man and seriously injured his mother and his brother-in-law. This is the second bloody vendetta between the two families – the first one was in the beginning of the 90’s. On Saturday afternoon, the 25 year old man and his brother-in-law were burning dry trees out on the field, when members of the other family attacked them. The reason of the attack was that the smoke annoyed them. In the middle of the fight, someone shot the 25 year old, who was taken to the hospital right away – he died from the serious wound.

Members of both families stood in front of the hospital and a new fight began. The relatives of the murdered boy accused one of the brothers from the other family for the shooting. One of the brothers got mad and stabbed the mother and brother-in-law of the murdered man. Both brothers ran away and are sought by the police. The atmosphere in the region was intense till late at night so the police had to be present for most of the time.
