During January, the legendary aircraft-carrier “Admiral Kouznetzov” (on the photo) will sail in Greek waters for one week. This was an announcement by the Greek Ministry of Defense for the media. The aircraft-carrier, which is sailing in the Southeast part of the Mediterranean Sea has asked for permission by the Greek general headquarters to make naval and air-force maneuvers in Greek waters and airspace. The approval was given immediately. Russian chasers will also participate. The training will be done around Rhode Island on 3rd, 4rd, 8th, and 10th of January and around Crete on January 11th. The Greek aviation is informed about the training.
