Maniac shooter in Athens

Four Athens citizens became victims of a mysterious shooter, who in the past 48 hours shot and wounded two women and to men. According to police report circulated by the Greek media the offender is a man who goes around the streets of the capital with a black jeep and shoots at casual people from the driver’s seat with a 22 caliber gun.

The first victim of the maniac shooter was a Bulgarian biker, who was shot in the hand, however doesn’t have any serious injuries. The next victim was a 56 years old man shot on Monday early evening in the vertebral column in Moshato neighborhood and is currently under medical supervision in the intensive care unit at the peril of his life. Shortly after 22:40 on Tuesday the attacker shot a 47 years old woman at the crossroad of Voria Ipiru street and Himaras street. The woman was wounded at the stomach. Her life is out of danger, however her liver and digestive tract are seriously injured.

Another target of the unknown shooter was a 42 years old woman who was exiting a clothes store on a central crossroad in Moshato neighborhood, however she was not injured. She managed to bend down and the bullet hit the shop window behind her. This happened on Monday, however the woman testified in police department on Wednesday after the announcement of the above mentioned incidents.

According to eye witnesses the man is around 35 years old with long black hair, driving a black jeep, whose license number is yet unknown. The motives of the attacks on casual citizens are still not know, the police continues the investigation.
