The jackpot in the Joker game of the Greek state lottery has amounted to 17 million euro as the winning combination was not hit on Sunday either. The numbers drawn were 5, 9, 16, 39, 42 and Joker 12. The Greek institution announced that 4,110,983 forms with 30,277,569 combinations were sold for yesterday’s draw. The Joker was hit on 11 September for the last time, when the lucky winner won 603,000 euro.
    The lottery rush is continuing as 50 cents, which is the price of one combination, can bring millions of euro in profit. In Greece, the tax on lottery profits is 20% and a large amount will surely remain for the person who has guessed the numbers.
     The historical record high profit from the game Joker in Greece was on 15 April 2010, when three players won the jackpot of 19,278,990 euro, each of whom became richer by 6,426,330 euro.
     Forms for the current jackpot will be accepted until 08:00 pm on Thursday, 6 November, and the draw will take place at 09:00 pm.
