Coffee, sunbed, restaurant with all the goodies for exceptional cases like hunger and of course sea. All this is offered in a guarded beach for a certain entrance fee. Which, however, are the guarded beaches in Attica and what do they offer?

The center of Athens can be plunged into the heat and traffic, but an hour away from it you can find guarded beaches in different parts of Attica, which can make you forget about a few problems, you can sunbathe, enjoy a cocktail and all the amenities. click@Life, desiring to refresh those who desperately seek a break from the busy traffic, cement, and everyday shouts of the boss, created a list of guarded beaches near Athens, in order for you not to have to walk far to catch your breath, but also to inform you how much this pleasure will cost you so you won’t be surprised with fins in hand.
Thalassea, First Beach - Voula

If there is not much traffic, Voula is no more than a half hour drive from downtown Athens. For the first beach of Voula (www.thalassea.gr), the entry fee is 5.50 euros on weekdays and weekends with the human flow also increase the fees as well, reaching 6.50 euros. Students, seniors and children enjoy a discount, paying 3.50 euros. The beach has lifeguards, medical staff, security and a place to park your car, as for the sunbeds, they will soon be paid separately at a price of 4 euros. Working hours: 8 o’clock in the morning to 8 o’clock in the evening.

Αvlaki, Porto Rafti

One of the destinations for which there is no need to spend all day in the car to get there is Avlaki in Porto Rafti. Fee for that beach is 5 euros for visitors from 12 to 60 years old and 3 euro for ages between 4 and 12 and over 60. The entrance for people with disabilities is free and you will also find special packages if you are a resident of the area. You will need half of the ticket for the sunbed and on the beach you will find a cafeteria from where you can get all necessary, if you feel hungry, and a doctor's office with a nurse and three lifeguards, who are ready to help if necessary. On the beach you can relax from 8 o’clock in the morning until 8 o’clock in the evening.

Eden Beach, Αnavisos

In front of the hotel complex Eden Beach Resort Hotel (www.eden.gr) in Anavissos, you can dive on… Eden Beach and lie on the sandy beach. There is no entrance fee, but if you would like to use a sunbed and not just lay on your towel, you will have to pay 9 euros for the kit (2 sunbeds with an umbrella). On the beach you will find a bar where you can enjoy a pina colada, and the many water activities will give you a chance to feel like a child again. The beach was awarded the "Blue Flag" (certificate of quality beaches, adopted by the European Commission on the Environment) and working hours are from 10:30 in the morning until...

Κaravi, Shinya

This guarded beach does not have an entrance fee, but you will need to have at least 4 euros consumption in the restaurant or the beach bars, in order to enjoy all the amenities. Karavi beach (www.karavi.gr) has won the “Blue Flag” for eight consecutive years, which means that you do not have to worry about going back home in the company of numerous bacteria. It also offers Wi-Fi access, if you prefer to surf the Internet instead of the water. If you are surfing on the sunbed under an umbrella you will have to pay 5 euros (for the sunbed, not for the surfing), and without an umbrella the price is 4 euros. All sports enthusiasts will be excited by the water sports school, which among other things offers the new fashion - Stand Up Paddle board (SUP) of Hawaiian origin, which is a board on which you are standing and paddling. Working hours are from 9 o’clock in the morning until 9 o’clock in the evening.

Αsteras-Glyfada

Pool or sea? Asteras - Glyfada lets you dive into the sea in Glyfada as well as in the Balux Café pool, should you choose in advance which services you will pay. If you choose the sea, the entrance fee will be 6 euros for adults and 3 euros for residents of Glyfada and children. Weekend prices increase respectively to 8 and 4 euros (the price includes use of sunbeds, umbrellas, shower and dressing room). If you prefer the blue of the pool instead of the sea, the entrance fee is 8 euros from 10.30 in the morning until 04.30 in the afternoon and 4 euros from 04.30 in the afternoon until 06.30 in the afternoon and on weekends the price go up to 10 euros during the whole day. Trampoline, mini soccer and beach volley, are just some of the amusements, which can be enjoyed under the hot sun.
