Minutes after closing the polling centres in Greece the neo-Nazis party "Golden Dawn" published a jubilant message, in which they celebrate the first time the party will enter the National Assembly. According to recent data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs the neo-Nazis have received 6.7 percent of the voters’ vote. On their website they predict that they will hold 25 seats in the National Assembly, which exceeded even their most optimistic expectations. Regarding this news the party members gathered to celebrate the new victory in front of their offices in Thessaloniki. In an official announcement on their website they say: "Hundreds of thousands of Greeks took part in a dynamic National Fight for Free Greater Greece." Members of "Golden Dawn" insist that their success is due to the decision of voters to turn their backs on traitors and their desire to start building a new greater country.

In a televised address Nikolaos Mihaloliakos said that he is dedicating the success of "Golden Dawn" to the boys in black clothes, who are fighting for a clean Greece. He called the Greek media an informational junta and threatened the oneswho were governing until yesterday that they will pay for their policies so far. Before his statement to reporters at the end of election day, Mihaloiakos forced the media to stand up to pay homage to him before his speech. Journalists, who did not obey, were taken out of the hall.
