One woman was killed and another was severely injured when, due to the strong wind, a poplar tree fell on a car travelling on the Mythilene - Agiasos road near Carini, Lesbos.

The woman who was driving the car has died, the other woman sitting beside her, in the front seat, is seriously wounded, the third woman in the car has minor injuries.

All three women are economic migrants from Albania and during the accident, they were returning from the field where they work.
