A strong blast was heard shortly before midnight in the yard of the oil entrepreneur, Theodoros Savaidis, in the Athens suburb of Vouliagmeni. Fortunately, no one was hurt, although the 63-year-old businessman and his family were at home at that time. This is the second time that Savaidis becomes the target of an attack: in 2013, criminals broke into his house and managed to injure him seriously.
The Security Office of Attica is in charge of the investigation. The authorities are particularly concerned as Savaidis' home in Praxiteles Street in Vouliagmeni sits fairly close to the home of Defence Minister Panos Kamenos.
