Everybody who works as a domestic assistant and as a farmer will take their salaries with coupons, which the employer will pay in advance in the banks or at the Centers for civil services. The domestic assistants and the farm workers - over 250 00 people will receive their money after the social security payments are stopped. The social ministry will take this step in an attempt to collect the taxes of the people who avoid paying them.

The new ordinance is concerning the domestic assistants, the women, who take care of children, the gardeners, collectors of peaches, potatoes etc. The goal of the ministry is for some people to start paying social insurances and increase the income of the pension security funds with 300 – 350 million euro annually.

From now on the employers will buy coupons from the banks of the Centers for civil services. The goal is later on these coupons to be sold in the kiosks after it is made sure they cannot be falsified.

The coupons will be issued for various amounts (for example coupons for 10 euro, 20 euro etc.). Employers will be able to combine them depending on the final amount they wish to pay (for example if the daily wage is 70 euro they could buy a coupon for 50 euro and another one for 20 euro). The employers will give the coupons to their employees.

Employees will take their salaries from the banks or social security centers, and those who work in farming will take their money from OGA after presenting the coupons. On the coupons will be written the amount which corresponds to the wage. At the cash desks the amount corresponding to the social security payments will be held and then the rest of the money will be paid to the employee.

Specifically for OGA is stipulated that those who work in farming have to pay annually at least 450 euro. When this amount is paid it will not be necessary to make more payments. In order to convince the employers to buy the coupons and insure their employees some tax benefits will be made. The amount the employers will pay will be written as an expense in his tax forms, announces “Etnos” newspaper.
