Greek police are searching for a woman about 30 years old and four other men aged between 25 and 30 years. They are all members of the terrorist group Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei. Some of them are believed to have been involved in the bloody bank robbery on the island of Paros.

The authorities know their names as they knew that of the captured Anasthasios Theophilou. Arrest warrants have been already issued for two members of the group. Those are the "shooter" from Syntagma Square and a 24-year old anarchist, who has already been convicted for involvement in clashes with police in central Athens.

Meanwhile, Theophilou was brought before magistrate Costas Baltas, who investigates all cases of terrorism. Senior police representatives believe that the wanted young people - members of the last "nucleus" of the Conspiracy were at the hiding place found in Lamia yesterday. The particular flat was the main headquarters of the last branch of the group after its hiding place in Volos was found a year ago.

However, the first police raid in the flat has found neither weapons nor money, but only a vest and a laptop. Among the items found, there were printers and plasticisation devices that the terrorists had used to make fake IDs in order to be able to rent lodgings. The police have found a mobile phone whose data are being processed and the entire investigation continues.

The police believe that the four attackers had arrived on the island of Paros a day before the robbery, slept outside in sleeping bags and separated two days later. According to the same working version, they met at the flat in Lamia after the robbery and then parted.

Anasthasios Theophilou’s involvement in the group is evident from the testimony a senior representative of the anti-terrorism service gave in December 2010, after the capture of four members of Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei. The antiterrorist supplied information of Theophilou’s meetings on Exarhia Square and of the 30-year old woman who is wanted as well. One of the four arrested, Konstantinos K., was a classmate of Anasthasios Theophilou at the Faculty of Theology in Thessaloniki.

According to some sources, the police knew for some months that the captured Theophilou had visited the hiding place in Agrinio. They were pursuing him but did not arrest him during the investigation of the case due to lack of evidence.

Authorities do not preclude the three accomplices of Theophilou in the robbery in Paros to have been wanted for involvement in Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei. Arrest warrants for the two anarchists who are supposed to have participated in the robbery were issued at the end of 2011. Their footprints were found in the hiding place of the group in the Athens suburb of Kallithea. According to court records, the police spotted them to carry bags full of arms.

One of the suspects is Ioannis M., aged 23, who was captured by police in his attempt to shoot an arrow against a riot forces squad during clashes in Syntagma Square on 4 February 2011. He lives in the suburb of Holargos and is a student in ecology and environmental protection. According to his relatives, Ioannis is "actively engaged in archery and shooting, but has not joined a club."

The police caught the young man several times. One of them was during a protest by environmentalists after the big fire in Parnitha Mount near Athens in 2007.

He was indicted for attempted murder in the case with the bow. After testifying before the magistrate, he was released. Then Ioannis said in an electronic message that shooting arrows in Syntagma had not been a "symbolic action." "The fight for the destruction of any kind of power cannot be violent. One consequence of the liberation war is the capture, whatever its outcome, no matter how long it will last. I want to tell all those who might find themselves in my place that they should have the courage of their convictions, disobey and not play by the rules of their (the authorities’ – author’s note) game. Now, I'm out, strong and more experienced, ready to throw myself back into the fight with all my passion. Brothers, patience, the time is coming. The war continues relentlessly."

The other youth wanted for involvement in the Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei is Dimitris P. He is 24 years old and lives in Holargos too. He was captured during clashes with police in Syntagma.

Police sources recall that another anarchist, involved in a skirmish with police in the capital's suburb Pevki in May 2011, has not yet been captured. Another young man was captured at that time, who is accused of involvement in the same group.
