Three of the six detainees charged with participation in terrorist organizations are facing the investigator today to testify. The issuance of arrest warrants for four others is also expected. An inquiry has been set against the six detainees for their involvement in four criminal offenses and four infractions.

39-years-old Nikos Maziotis and his 41-years-old wife Panayota Rupa consider that the case should be of political nature and emphasized that they do not recognize the procedure and will not testify, stated their lawyer Spyros Fitrakis.

The inquest, which is opened against the six detainees, is associated with 16 attacks by the organization "Revolutionary Struggle" from 2003 until now. Today another four arrest warrants will be issued. Under the microscope of the police is a 35-years-old woman who had personal relations with a 25-years-old student at the Faculty of Metallurgy at the Polytechnic University from where were stolen explosives used later in the attacks of terrorists. There is information that the 35-years-old woman who has been followed for three years by the  counter-terrorism office, visited the prisoner Nikos Paleokostas in  the Koridalo jail few weeks before his second escape from it.

Another suspect is a 32-years-old employee of National Printing Office, which is missing, but we know that he has already met with the detainees. It is not yet known whether the evidence collected is enough for his detention.

The third person who might be arrested is a young man who was called last Saturday by one of the detainees. From their phone conversation, which was encrypted, allegedly received instructions to remove the weapons of the organization from the safe hiding place, which location is not yet known.

Probably an arrest warrant will also be issued to a close relative of one of those arrested already. This man, who engages the police since the 90s with the activities of Nikos Maziotis, was wounded in the leg few days ago under unknown circumstances.

Officers are also leading an investigation about the relationship of two people from the extreme left organizations whose fingerprints were found in the apartment of Lambros Fundas. Finally, a probable relation is being investigated to the organization of a 60-years-old man from Magnisiya area, who is also a relative of one of the detainees.

At the same time officers from the Anti-terrorist services are looking from door to door for the two hideaways where weapons of the organization are hidden. Investigation is intense, because while the weapon is in the hands of non detained members of the organization, the possibility of new terrorist attack cannot be excluded. Police attention is directed to the districts Patisiya, Nea Ionia and Nea Filadelfia.
