Anastacia left Euro Voice 2010 too

The attempt of Greece to host the music contest Euro Voice 2010 has become a true fiasco. Not only that the "spectacular" in the words of the organizers show at OAKA Olympic Center was moved to the incomparably smaller and modest stage in Athinon Arena Hall, which is more suitable for bouzouki than for international competitions, but the stars of the show refused to participate at the last moment. The reasons? Poor organization of the hosts and an avalanche of misunderstanding. Unfortunately, Euro Voice 2010 slipped from the hands of Greece and took over its own way... It is clear that the hosts failed to organize the music show better. Instead, they presented their own show and turned into its spectators...

But let us follow the things as they happened. After the Greek music star Sakis Rouvas gave up his role as a host a day before the start of the contest, Eric Serra had to take his place due to the lack of other options. So, instead of the advertised brilliance of the pair Pamela and Sakis, there remained only the shine of Pamela and the French composer. Actually, she is the only star who has not refused to support the contest so far. Dressed in an impressive white dress and extraordinary high purple shoes, the sex symbol tried to refresh the "production" of the Greek hosts. Indeed, the songs of the young artists and Pamela’s smiles are the only fresh tune on the stage, where otherwise chaos and confusion reign.

The second jolt came in the first night of the contest. Anastacia herself refused to sing in Athinon Arena. The star appeared on stage in a black dress and a white sheet in hand instead of singing in the middle of stage effects. She said in a hoarse voice to the audience sank into silence that she had to announce something unpleasant, namely that she wanted to talk to the people and tell them that she wanted to be able to sing, but she was not. Unfortunately, this production damaged her voice and she didn't sing. Her doctor advised her to go back and to examine her. They used some smoke that damaged her voice and she could not even speak. She was very sorry as this was not a decision she wanted to take. But she felt the need to go out and tell the people about it. She appreciated that they were there for the show, appreciated their support to the music of Euro Voice and thanked them. She said she would participate again some other year. The singer made her statement emotionally, with breaks and was visibly affected. She left the stage with a bouquet of flowers from her upset fans.

After this ugly scene the contest was interrupted. There was complete turmoil in the hall. The fans of the star could not believe that what happened was true and that they have bought tickets for the contest in vain. The hall quickly emptied ... Total chaos reigned inside and outside it. Offended young people and mothers with children were seeking their rights and accused the organizers that they shouldn’t engage with the event if they can not organize it. The organizers themselves were nervously begging the people to leave them alone to take the "crisis management "… The hosts displayed in the hall the promotional clips of the participants. However, repeated endlessly they quickly bored the little audience in the hall.

The first night of the contest is over as if by magic but the tension is still strong. Whether Euro Voice 2010 will go down in history as a fatal contest will depend on whether the last hope of the organizers, the world mega star Enrique Iglesias, will also refuse to come on the Athinon Arena stage at the last minute.
