VenueHellenic American Union Galleries Start Date19/09/2011 End Date18/10/2011 OpeningMonday, September 19, 2011, 20:30 Gallery Hours/DurationMonday-Friday: 12:00-21:00, Saturday: 10:30-14:30, closed on Sunday  In cooperation with the Museum of the Hellenic Nobel Collection, the  Hellenic American Union is organizing an exhibition dedicated to the  American Nobel prize-winning writer Ernest Hemingway entitled Ernest Hemingway: From Life to Fiction. The exhibition is organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his death. The exhibition introduces the visitor to Ernest Hemingway’s life and  work through photos presented for the first time in Greece and rare  audio-visual material. The original archive material from the collection  of the Museum of the Hellenic Nobel Collection features aspects of the  eventful life of the American writer, while at the same time highlights  the historical context that influenced Hemingway to create some of his  most significant works. A program of parallel events including film screenings, a panel  discussion and an educational program will be organized as part of the  exhibition.
