A Marc poll for ALPHA TV shows a 27% lead of SYRIZA against the second political party New Democracy.

SYRIZA musters 45.4% of voter’s preferences against only 18.4% for New Democracy. Further down the line come the Communist Party with 4.8%, Independent Greeks with 4.7%, Potami with 4.6%, PASOK with 2.8%, the Movement of Democratic Socialists with 2%, the Union of centrists with 1.8%, and Telia with 1.3%.

83.1% of respondents take positively to the first days of the new government, while 13.6% give it either a negative or just about negative assessment. 3.3% did not answer the question. 79.9% support the government’s policy statement against 17.4% who think of it negatively.

As regards Finance Minister Yannis Varoufakis, he gets the support of 82% of citizens.

Earlier in the week, another two agencies found that the majority of Greeks supported the government’s policy statement.

According to a GPO poll for Mega TV, 79.2% of respondents reacted positively to the government’s policy statement submitted to parliament by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. 6 of every 10 voters, who had voted for New Democracy, were now supportive of the declaration.

According to the same poll, 85% of citizens believed that this policy statement met SYRIZA’s election promises.

73.6% of those polled thought that the strategy, unrolled by the government and the prime minister while negotiating with the creditors, would eventually lead to a compromise with the European partners. However, 16.2% believed that it would lead to a final breakup.

At the same time, 60.9% of citizens believed that the risk of Greece leaving the eurozone had not been outlived yet. This score was 9.3 points higher than the one of the previous study held on 23 January.

78.4% of respondents evaluated positively the policies of the prime minister and the government during the first two weeks of their stewardship, and 16% gave a negative assessment.

In parallel, 9 out of 10 citizens said that the opposition parties were due to give the government a hand in the negotiations it was conducting.

It is an interesting fact that 93.5% of New Democracy’s constituents have answered this question with either "yes" or a tentative yes.

90% of those surveyed agree with the prime minister's stance that the new government is obliged to claim reparations.

An ALCO poll has shown similar results. Strikingly, 31% of New Democracy constituents supported the government's policy statement, while 41% of them approved the government's line in the process of negotiations.

The poll, commissioned by topontiki.gr, has shown that the governments policy pronouncements have incited enthusiasm or pride among 47% of respondents, left 24% of them indifferent, and 20% were concerned about them. Only 2% were downright negative about the statements.

67% gave either positive or very positive evaluation of the government’s policy statement, 9% were either negative or very negative, 19% were indifferent, and 6% failed to respond.

Voters of both parties involved in the government provide the strongest support for its policy statement. The Golden Dawn people also supported it, as well as 68% of PASOK’s constituents and 31% of New Democracy’s ones.

The government was given a vote of confidence by 60% of Golden Dawn voters, 57% of PASOK voters, 53% of Potami voters and 48% of Communist Party ones. 81% of New Democracy supporters gave it a vote of no-confidence.

As as far as the government's position in its negotiations with partners and creditors is concerned, it got a 75% support from respondents, while 15% were negative towards it. 10% did not respond.

According to party preferences, 90% of SYRIZA, Independent Greeks and Golden Dawn voters liked the government's position, as well as 73% of Communist Party voters and 69% of PASOK and Potami ones. A surprising 41% of New Democracy voters expressed support for the government.
