The infected with swine flu young Frenchman (29) was admitted in Shishmanoglio hospital about two weeks ago. Pneumonia was provoked by the H1N1 virus and the illness ended this morning with the death of the patient. Despite the efforts of the doctors the boy lost the battle against the severe virus. This is the first swine flu death case in Greece of a person, who did not have any chronic diseases but showed complications and had pneumonia as a result of the H1N1 virus.

The 29 year old Frenchman arrived in Greece for holidays and later on developed pneumonia, which turned into a severe breathing insufficiency. Early this morning, at 04:25AM he died in the ER of Shishmanoglio hospital.
