According to latest news in the Greek media the "separated" spouses Eleni Menegaki and Yiannis Latsios have rented rooms in a luxury hotel complex on the island of Corfu, in order to spend Easter together. Since the official statement of the divorce of the golden couple of Greek television came out, the secular press follows their every move. The rumors that the divorce is only an advertising gimmick, which raised the rating of the TV show "Coffee with Eleni," are becoming stronger and stronger. “To claim that someone is getting a divorce, only to increase interest in a TV show is funny and frivolous," defends the couple their best man and media magnate Petros Kostopolos. However, a floating rumor in the public space says that perhaps the divorce was inevitable, but the couple is doing everything possible to derive maximum benefit from its popularity. 

As proof of this claim, paparazzi accidentally detected the separated spouses Menegaki and Latsios to dinner in an intimate atmosphere in a sushi restaurant in Kefalari on Friday night. Eyewitnesses say the couple arrived in different cars, but they came into the restaurant embraced. Somewhere between the red wine, the raw fish and the smiles, the hot couple of the Greek show business has demonstrated closeness, but not intimacy. The game of cat and mouse with reporters had continued on Sunday when Yiannis Latsios visited Eleni and their children in their house in Melissia. The occasion was the 5-year birthday of their daughter Laura, which was celebrated in a narrow family circle. Present were Eleni’s mother and her brother Todoris, who flew from London especially for the birthday celebration of his little niece.
