The only and unique Prodigy come this autumn in Greece and tickets for their concerts are being snapped up like hot cakes. In mid-July the organizers from Detox Productions announced that on September 17th (Friday) and 18th (Saturday) 2010 the two concerts will be held - the first in Athens and the second in Thessaloniki. Although this summer was filled with a series of musical events, the most recent one of which was the U2 concert on the third of September, the appetite of the Greek fans turned out not to be satisfied.

In the beginning was annonced the hall Arena Athinon, which can seat about 3000 people, but it proved to be too small to accommodate all who wish to enjoy the show. So organizers had to announce a second concert in the same hall in Athens – on September 16th (Thursday), for which new tickets came out. This also, however, proved not to be sufficient, because in less than 10 days again all tickets were purchased, and those who wish to see the show did not stop coming.

The greater demand forced Detox Productions to relocate the event in a bigger concert hall and according to the latest data it will be held in the indoor Olympic Stadium for Taekwon Do in Peleo Faliro. So the legendary concert Prodigy 2010 in Athens will be held only one day, in which will be valid the tickets sold for both 16 and 17of September this year. According to unconfirmed data the indoor Olympic Stadium can hold about 10,000 people and according to representatives of the ticket offices in Athens until the end of the weekend, all tickets for the concert will be completely sold out.

"Only for about three days were purchased over 2000 tickets," said exclusive for GRReporter one of the employees in the ticket offices. The queue on Thursday was over 50 meters, and those willing to attend the concert of Prodigy were aged between fifteen to fifty years. Almost all fans have bought more than one ticket, and a boy aged about twenty years has bought a total of nine tickets for all his friends. All who have purchased tickets for September 16, and can not go to the concert on the 17th, may recover the full amount on Wednesday, September 15th.

Today still the twenty years career in experimental sound makes Prodigy synonymous with extreme-dance music. With more than 20 million records sold, their name will go down in history with songs like Smack My Bitch Up, Breathe, Out of Space, No Good (Start The Dance), Voodoo People, Poison, Firestarter, Omen, Warrior's Dance, Charly, One Love and many others.

The price of the tickets from the advance sale for Athens is 43 euros and for Thessaloniki 40 euros. On the day of the concert tickets will cost  48 euros for the apital and 45 euros for the second largest city in Greece.
