Massive Attack, Faithless and Fatboy Slim are the big names in this year’s Rockwave Festival, which were announced today and the participation of Black Eyed Peas is expected to be confirmed or cancelled. This year's festival will once again be held on stage at the Terravibe Park in Malakasa on July 7, 10 and 11.
More specifically, on July 7 Faithless will appear as the main group, and greatly anticipated appearance of Black Eyed Peas, which was announced some time ago, has not yet been confirmed. Headliner on July 10 will be Fatboy Slim, and the next day the stage will be taken over by Massive Attack, who will present their new album.
Other groups who have announced their appearance but we do not know when exactly they will get on stage are: White Lies, Gogol Bordello, Ska-P, DJ Shadow, Garcia plays Kuyss and Martina Topley Bird. Ticket sale will start on March 23, and prices will be announced during the upcoming days. Previously, fans of heavy music, however can prepare to go nuts with Lamb of god at Fuzz Club on June 1.
At the end of May Bob Dylan will be playing on Τerra Vibe’s stage – his fans will have to wait until May 29 to hear their idol live. The date of the concert is now officially uploaded on Dylan’s website – he will visit Greece after one month pause after his appearance in Seoul as part of the Νever Εnding Τour. The tour that never ends, but which from time to time takes a little break, will continue in Istanbul and Italy.
This is not Dylan’s first appearance in Greece. He was here on June 28, 1989 and in 1993 are now he is back in very a good shape and continues to release great albums. Don’t you dare to think even for a second that Dylan, who on May 24 will become 69 years old, is slowing down! His tour Νever Εnding Τour officially started in June 1988 and is not giving any signs of exhaustion, making about 100 concerts a year.
