A surprise - hit for the season is preparing the actor Hristoforos Papakaliatis. This time the temperamental Greek intends to place his fans and especially lady fans in deep waters by turning into... Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. We will be able to see him playing the character of Mozart in the play by Peter Schaffer "Amadeus" in the "Britania" theater shortly after Christmas. The script writer of the play on the other hand Dimitris Lignadis will stand by Mozart playing the character of Salieri. The performance is expected to become a commercial hit, and the hot presence of Papakaliatis on the theatrical stage in the winter to warm the hearts of the audience. Those who can not believe this so unexpected reincarnation of actor better start getting used to the thought already. They have time until the winter. Success is expected not only because of the involvement of Papakaliatis. A prerequisite for it is the film by Milos Forman, which in 1984 won an Oscar.

Papakaliatis has repeatedly astonished the audience with his choices of roles. The actor is known for his restless and forever seeking spirit. His specialty are the emotional, but maniac and going to extremes characters. Those who go through strong storms of internal anguish while taking some decision. Characters not bright and not at all cheerful whose passionate nature often draws them into conflict situations. On the screen Papakaliatis is often involved in love relationships with mother and daughter. His experience is usually bitter and the denouement is generally dramatic and problematic. And as befits a true drama the decision brings no relief character.

The actor born in Iraklio has key roles in the series of channel Mega: "Dolce Vita", "Anastasia", "Unacceptable","The painted sun", "Touching the soul", "Deka mikri Mitsi". Writes and plays in: "Three wishes", "To keep me", "Two days only" and "4". He played also in "Anatomy of a crime" of ANT1.

The film showed a young generation actors such as Joanna Papa, Christos Lulis, Aris Servetalis, Talia Matica. The series caused a wave of strong criticism because of a lovers’ kiss exchanged between two male protagonists of the series.

Papakaliatis, considered to be one of the sexiest Greek actors is known as someone who always has something to say. After his series "Two days only" suffered a failure, he said: "I have the right not to do my job well sometimes". Otherwise, he is a workaholic and is committed to what he does to a degree of mania. He is also amorous and temperamental, but a very difficult man. Outside the stage cameras have hard time to detect him with a girlfriend. He admits, however, that for his scenarios he derives greatest inspiration from his relationships, which are usually wild and dramatic. He searches depth and passion, but at the same time he is afraid of commitment. And instead of calming him down the relationships cause him stress and strain him...
