GRReporter wins the award for a Bulgarian media abroad

For the second consecutive year, has won an award in the prestigious contest "Bulgarian Web Awards" organized by the Bulgarian Web Association (BWA). This year, the award is in the "Bulgarian Media Abroad" category which is part of the "Media Web Awards". The fifth edition of the media contest nominated 95 finalists, divided into four major sections: "Industry Web Awards", "Media Web Awards", "Professional Web Awards" and "Marketing Web Awards". The awards ceremony took place in Sofia Event Centre last night.

The initiatives and innovations we have accomplished over the past year, following our participation and awarding in the "Regional Media" category last year, impressed the jury and won us our prize.

We have started cooperation with the video guide We have launched the Unplugged section containing unedited videos. The "Figures and Facts" subcategory which we support in our three language versions is of great interest to our readers. In collaboration with Aristea Centre we have launched the "Mediterranean recipes" section. 195 children took part in the international literary contest organized along with the Bulgarian school in Athens.

The award recognizes the professionalism and efforts of GRReporter’s entire team of journalists, translators, photographers, cameramen, software engineers and designers.
Our team will strive to promote the contest and the "Bulgarian Media Abroad" category because we believe that these media deserve more public attention in Bulgaria and their participation in such a professional competition will give them impetus for development and use of the latest information technologies in the industry.
