Yes, it is 12:37 as I am writing this but I will still say – good morning and Happy New Year! I hope you had a great time last night and I wish this year will bring you a lot of things to smile and be happy about!

So on January 1, 2010 number one in GRR HOT 15 is Empire State of Mind by Jay Z and Alicia Keys! The hit is number five in Billboard TOP 100 but here it climbed with five positions last week, in order to reach the top!

One position up is Mine eki pou ise. The song by Nevma and Professional Sinnerz went a long way in order to reach number two, so I hope if it does not go up it will at least keep this place for some time.

Pano ap ola by Mironas Stratis left the number on and fell with two positions, which placed it on number three. The song spent two whole weeks leading the chart so it is only fair that it gave the place to someone else.

Unfortunately Pitbull and Akon disappointed me this week. Their song Shut it down fell with two positions and landed on number four. But knowing Pitbull he will not give up that easy so I am expecting him to jump up again!

Keeping its last week position is Video Phone by Beyonce and Lady Gaga. I wonder whether number five will be as high as they will go? Well after all it depends on you, so if you like the song vote and give it a push.

Number six is In-Grid. Her song Le Dragueur fell with two positions leaving the TOP 5 once again. On the other hand a jump of two positions brought Truly to number seven. Maria Ilieva and Keith Thompson found each other and created a hit, which keeps on moving up!

Here comes Morandi with his ultimate hit Colors! The song is currently on number eight after a jump of three positions. Pitbull’s other song is also falling down. I hope this week’s fact is just an exception to the rule! His song Room Service fell with two positions and landed on number nine!

Also two positions down is Tora by Lava and Katerina Stikoudi. The song is currently on number ten and it seems it had given up against all the competition in the chart...

Number eleven is Sexy Bitch by David Guetta and Akon. The hit fell with one position but this is normal for the song! It has been present in the chart for so long that going up and down is something usual! I believe that this song is the only one, which stayed in GRR HOT 15 for so long and again this is understandable since it has in Billboard TOP 100 for 21 weeks!

Kokkina Halia and their song I agapi theli hrono climbed only with one position and stopped on number twelve. The Greeks need a push so they can reach the competition and fight so vote!

Lady Gaga did an exchange this week – two positions up for Christmas Tree (on number 13) and two positions down for Bad Romance (number 14). I expected Bad Romance to do better but I guess it is still not too late to go up again.

The new song this week and on number 15 is Do you remember by Jay Sean, Sean Paul and Lil Jon. The song is number 10 in Billboard TOP 100 and is going up! I hope you like the selection of this song and you will enjoy the beginning of 2010 with GRR HOT 15!
