Members of the Federation reminded Angela Merkel that at the archaeological sites of Ancient Olympia were trained hundreds of German archaeologists within the cooperation of the Greek state with archaeological schools abroad, stressing that the policy of pressure, led by Germany, leads to theft and loss of cultural heritage.

In conclusion it was stated that the Federation insists that immediate measures be taken regarding the security in museums and archaeological sites by filling the job vacancies and also for the Ministry of Culture to be exempted from the reduction of employees and from participating in the creation of a labour reserve.
