, who arrived in Greece last September. They were accused in illegal possession of weapons and involvement in a criminal group. A false residence permit was found with the wife which was her only crime according to Dimitrakopoulos, while her fiancé had committed only the crime to assist a fugitive. "The main player in this case is Rizai. You should sentence him, not the innocent," said in conclusion Dimitrakopoulos.

The third to plead was the lawyer Charalambos Likoudis, defender of Hrisantos Anagnostopoulos, an old acquaintance of the police, whose brother was killed last year in settling between barons of the night. Anagnostopoulos, owner of the armored car that Rizai used after the escape from prison, has not been present at the hearings. According to his lawyer, he did it because he did not want to meet Rizai face to face. The defender told that Anagnostopoulos is guilty only of illegal possession of weapons and that he did not know to whom he transferred the vehicle. “Only a madman would give his car to one of the most wanted criminals in the country,” summarized Likoudis.

The session will be held today when the court will rule on the guilt of the accused and will announce their verdicts.
