Total losses reported by Piraeus Bank for the fiscal year 2011 reached 6.3 billion euro. The Bank was involved in the write-off programme of the Greek sovereign debt with bonds totalling 7.7 billion euro and as a result, reported losses of 5.9 billion euro.
