It is hard to suggest books. Preferences of every reader relate to his moral and mental needs. At the moment I am reading poetry books. I prefer Russian poets of the early 20th century. As they, we are now living in a time of transition, we are on the border between two epochs. We have the same, questions, expectations and hopes. Poetry is always a safe haven for people, and when it is connected with philosophy then we can only expect good results.
Which title best fits our epoch and why?
I think nowadays most relevant to readers are the books that pose issues to think about the person, his place in history and presentation of the principles that will help him survive and not lose his humanity. This is why my suggestion is concentrated in the chapter "Grand Inquisitor" by Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel “The Brothers Karamazov”.
