Yula Papathanasiou from the Federation of Greek graduate professional beauticians does not share this opinion. According to her the level of knowledge and the quality of work of people in her profession in Germany does not meet the level of specialization in Greece. "In our category fall three main professions which are associated with the health of the people - beauticians, nutritionists and physiotherapists. In our country, they study to the level of college education and graduates in Germany, for example, have neither the capacity nor the required level of knowledge to perform those jobs here" was clear Papathanassiou. She said that so far only people who graduated in the Netherlands and the UK have an educational system similar to the Greek one for this profession and are able to exercise it freely in Greece. Yula Papathanassiou warned that if the government recognizes the diplomas of cosmeticians from other countries without their educational program meeting the local one, the federation would not remain indifferent.
