Banks, the first victim of SYRIZA’s economic policy

Transferring the control over banks to centres abroad will significantly reduce the influence of the local political system on the economy, but also on the established system of relations between politicians and oligarchs, which limits the field of competition, both in the economy and in politics. The fate of the economy and Greece’s staying in the euro zone depend on the fate of banks. If the confidence of depositors in banks is restored, the whole situation will return to normal. If Greek banks become part of the network of international banks to which the Greeks have transferred part of their savings, then these funds will more easily return to Greece. Today banks are the heart of economy and society as a whole. The situation in Greece will change and confidence will be restored when the confidence in banks is. At the time of Lenin and the junta of colonels it was enough to have available two armoured divisions and to control the buildings of the telecommunication company and the national electric company to control the whole country. Today the control belongs to the one that controls banks.
