Playing the devil’s advocate, do you think that yes, it is nice and convenient to shop from you couch but doesn’t this take away the valuable nice experience of shopping?

Well, in the case of cars I believe people shop online exactly because they don’t like the buying experience. For clothing I can understand what you are saying but for certain groceries – you don’t need to hold up a packet of crisps, because a packet of crisps is a packet of crisps. For fruits and vegetables, yes I can understand that too, so finally it is a balance between the two. It is not about saying online shopping is better than regular shopping but they are just different. And sometimes you want to go for convenience and value and other times you just want to enjoy your shopping experience.
