Non government organizations seek help and support HIV positive people in Greece in any way they can. They have joined forces with the Commission for Social Dialogue on AIDS, which meets once a month. Participants discuss all issues surrounding the so-called "scourge of the 20th Century", which came with a very bold step in the new century with the help of ignorance, carelessness to the studies, shame and negative reaction of the society towards those carrying the virus.
