And before you hurry to think that this is a very important aspect of life that could be above any individual characteristic, consider how many people are born in the world only in a single day? They are born in different socio-political societies, they live in a different environment from economic, legal and political type. If you do not take into account the other planets in the horoscope - Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Uranus, Neptune and Puton as well as the individual points like the Ascendant and mid-heaven, calculated according to time and place of birth – we are in fact playing the game "the cups game".
In the Chinese zodiac naturally there is the possibility to achieve greater precision. The chinese philosophy is one of the most ancient ones, it is very in depth and in no way do I intend to belittle it. On the contrary! Chinese astrologers use the so-called. "Four pillars" which are the following:
    1. Year of birth – corresponds to one of the animals in the zodiac. It is called "external animal". The external animal is associated with descent, life circumstances. Exactly what we talked about above. This is not an individual characteristic.
    2. Month of birth - each animal is assigned one of the months in a year, for example, the rabbit controls the month of March. It's called "inner animal".
    3. Date of birth – as it is for the month, each animal manages the different days. Again it is associated to the "inner" self. The inner animals can now be called an individual characteristic, because it is related to what the man wishes to be, how he present himself to the others. When doing an analysis according to the Chinese zodiac about the compatibility, this makes a difference. Do not trust too much the constituents made according to the year of birth.
    4. Time of birth – once again we follow a special distribution of the animals in the hours. It's called the "secret animal". The secret animal is associated with those deep individual characteristics, which one tries to conceal, he prevents the others from knowing about them and generally shows them only to his closest people.
The Chinese astrological system certainly has its place and is developed in sufficient details. But the form in which it is presented to the common reader is mildly said unacceptable. I can not imagine someone's horoscope, which has only two planets - Jupiter and Saturn. And on this basis, someone doing an individual analysis of the character and life of a person.
For example, for the people born in 1971, according to the Chinese zodiac they were born in the Year of the Pig, the metal element. In the second half of 1971 and the first of 1972 Jupiter resides in the sign Scorpio and Saturn in the sign of Taurus. For this animal, the description in the Chinese zodiac is approximately the following: Open demonstration of emotions, a huge appetite, lack of exquisiteness and tact. Ambitious, but not always objective, can be dangerous opponents. These people hold on to their standpoints.
If I translate this from the astrological context into the socio-public life and relate it to the configuration of Jupiter and Saturn, we receive the following: people born in that year, usually strongly emphasize on their desire to separate and detached from family / community and the accepted traditions in which they were born. They have uncertain life with frequent changes in residence and societies to which they belong. It is obvious how common this characteristic is. And how many people were born with such a configuration.

The following year 2011, according to the Chinese zodiac is the year of the Metal Rabbit. Astrologically speaking in 2011 Jupiter will stay in the sign Aries and Saturn in the sign Libra. 60 years ago the year 1951 was also year of the Metal Rabbit and the planets Jupiter and Saturn again resided respectively in the signs Aries and Libra. Any analysis that would be made about the year 2011 logically should be identical to 1951. Similarly, 2010 is identical to 1950. Anyone who has information about events in the world for 1950 may make the comparisons with 2010.
I will mention one of the important events in 1950: Korean War - a conflict between North Korea and South Korea that lasted from June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953. I guess you have all read that lately again there is a conflict between the two countries.
The Chinese zodiac rather provides information about the development of world and society as a whole - from political, financial and climatic point of view. The same in the classical astrology is determined by analyzing the planets Jupiter and Saturn. When reading information about yourself according to the Chinese zodiac, relate it with your place in the social and public life and your attitude towards it.
