Terrorists from the Greek organization "Conspiracy of the fiery cores" dressed as policemen stopped unsuspecting citizens for routine document verification. Communication was first released by the online edition of the newspaper Vima on the very day of Christmas, according to which the names from the frame up verifications are used for the making of about 30 fake identity cards and other documents. The data have been used by representatives of the organization to rent flats – hiding places to send correspondence, to have access to health facilities and social security accounts.

Findings have been reached after an examination of the evidence gathered during the arrest of Gerasimos Tsakalos and Panagiotis Argirou who were captured in early November 2010 in connection with the packages bombs that terrorized Athens for three days. One of the hiding places which was rented under a false name by the terrorist organization is the luxury apartment of 100 square meters in the Athenian neighborhood Halandri, which is considered to be one of the most expensive areas in Athens. The apartment was discovered in midweek and it is located on No. 3 Kasu str., it has a large area and a fireplace. It was rented by Dimitris Stamatis, which proved to be one of the names on the list of stolen identities.

The complete list of names and the data of the unsuspecting Greek citizens has fallen into the hands of the policemen from the department for "terrorism control" after the arrest in the district of Nea Smyrna. Dimitris Michail, Hristos Politis, Georgeous Karayanidis and Stella Antoniou were arrested on the fourth of December this year with a large number of different caliber weapons and explosives. Among them was found also a portable electronic memory disc with data of students and citizens who came across the verifications of the terrorist -policemen from the Fiery cores. Evidence suggests that false blockade was most often set in front of the state technical college in the district Egaleo where the students were stopped for "routine" inspection.

Terrorists have chosen one or two individuals from large companies of youths who have had approximately the same age as theirs, to falsify their data. The real person Dimitris Stamatis is a 22 year – old student and when he was stopped he didn’t realize that the police inspectors were false. In the hiding place in the neighborhood Halandri were found many different uniforms as well as instruments for burglary. Currently they are being examined in the police laboratory. The three people who have hired the Halandari apartment have presented themselves as Italian students. At questions, however, still remains the fact, why the "cores" have chosen a hiding place which has 1,100 euro monthly rent, which is extremely high for an average standard of accommodation. This raises another question: "How and exactly where from is the terrorist organization funded to maintain its high costs and martial accoutrements?"
