Plays2place company invites immigrants and Greeks living in Athens who are professionally involved in music, theater, dance, cinema, drawing and photography, to submit biographical reference and works to email address: info@puzzlefestival.gr, in order to take part in the second Puzzle Festival, which will take place on May 28-30 2010 at Technopolis in Athens.
 
Conditions for participation according to category

Music

Call for groups provided that one of the musicians is an immigrant and professional singer.
There are no restrictions on the music genre.
 
Theater & Dance
 
Open invitation to groups or individual actors, provided that the director or one of the main actors in each production is an immigrant who is professionally involved with theater or dance.
The works to be presented are chosen by the creators and are in Greek or in another language chosen by the participants.
Duration of each production - not less than 45 minutes.
 
Visual Arts

Open invitation for immigrants, who are visual artists, to participate in the exhibition. The theme of the exhibition is "my word / my world" and is common to all concerned. Each artist can send 3 works of their choice by writing their titles and sizes.
 
Photography

Open invitation for immigrants photographers - professional or amateur, to participate in the exhibition. The theme of the exhibition is "street spirit" and is common to all participants. Pictures should be size between 30x50cm or 50Χ70cm, high quality (300dpi) and should be submitted in their final version.

Format of submission: .pdf on cd/dvd.
The exhibition is a competition - selected committee will give prizes to the distinguished photographers.
 
Movies
Open movie-fans call for immigrants to participate in the creation of a short film, provided that one of the fundamental participants in the production or the cast is an immigrant.
The theme of the movie is open.
The film must be shot in a digital format.
Copy of the movie should be submitted on DVD-video.
The duration of the film should not be less than 20 minutes.
All films sent to Puzzle Festival, will be screened during the festival.
After the festival the best three films selected by committee, will be awarded.
 
Deadline for submission of entries / proposals for all categories: Friday - April 16, 2010
