This week’s GRReporter HOT15 chart is definitely influenced by the national song finalists, which will represent Bulgaria and Greece on this year’s Eurovision during May in Moscow. On Wednesday Greeks chose the song “This is our Night,” with which Sakis Rouvas will attack the first place in the competition. Despite the almost 100% support of the song, it timidly enters our HOT15 and takes the 14th place.

Sofia is awaiting the finals on Saturday night, when the finalist song will be chosen and sent to Moscow. On fourth place and GRReporter’s favorite is Krasimir Avramov and his song “Illusion,” but we are also giving a chance to Mariana Popova and “Crazy” on seventh place and Miro, who is “Losing Control, when” on twelfth position. Another candidate for representing Bulgaria on Eurovision has a good start and 13th place – Jura Tone and “Chance to Love you.” Poli Genova is still number 15 with her song “One lifetime is not enough” – we are wishing her good luck on the finals in Sofia!

A big surprise this week is Madonna’s dropping out, who is “Miles Away” from us and as we, Bulgarians say: “eyes, which do not see each other, tend to forget themselves.” For a second consecutive week, the duet James Morrison and Nelly Furtado are on top and there is a reason for that. This week “Broken Strings” climbed to number 1 in the European singles chart. A deserved second place is given to the charming rapper Goin’ Through, whose hit “Don’t have vacation” continues to lead in several Greek charts. Madonna dropped out but her heir is Lady Gaga climbed to the third place with her great song “Just Dance.”

Rihanna fell two positions down with her nice remake featuring T.I., “Live your life” and took the not so bad fifth position. Sakis Rouvas will got o Eurovision with a dancing hit, which we already introduced but many of his fans prefer his gentle ballades like “Came,” which took number six. And because this is Duffy’s week, after her triumph in Great Britain, it only made sense to make the eighth place with her song “Rain on your parade.”

Right after her is one performer who reminds us of Duffy - the same retro sound but this time with some grotesque notes. We are talking about Alesha Dixon and “Boy does nothing.” And because this following song headed the US hot 100 and Hot 100 Canada charts it was about time for Flo Rida to enter GRR HOT15 with his stunning hip-hop hit “Right Round.” Anna Vissi and her song “Forbidden” are holding firmly the 11th position.
